Rnd 1:   With Color A ch 6 (counts as starting ch, 1 dc and ch 2 sp), dc in starting ch of ch 6, ch 2, (dc, ch 2) four times. Join with sl st in 4th ch of beg ch 6. (5 dc & 5 ch 2 spaces) Mark this Rnd as Right Side.
Rnd 2:   (Sl st, ch 3, 5 dc) in next ch sp, (6 dc in next ch sp), around. Join with sl st in top of ch 3. (30 dc)

Note:   The 2 Markers should have 3 crossed dc between them (6 dc). This is the space for the neck.

Directions for Crown of Cap:  
Row 1:   Join Color B with sl st in sp of Marker 2, * (ch 3, 2 dc in same sp, sk 2 dc, sc in next dc), repeat from * around finishing row with a sc in Marker #1 sp. Ch 3, turn. Remove Markers.
Row 2:   Place 2 dc in same sp as turning, sc in ch 3 of previous row, * (ch 3, 2 dc around ch 3 of previous row, sc in next ch 3) repeat from * around. Ch 3, turn.
Row 3 - Row 11:   Repeat Row 2 until Color B section measures 2 3/4". (About 10 more Rows)
Row 12:   Place 2 dc in same sp as turning, sc in ch 3 of previous row, * (ch 3, 2 dc around ch 3 of previous row, sc in next ch 3) repeat from * around. Ch 3, Turn.
Row 13:   Dc in same sp as turning, sc in ch 3 of previous row, * (2 dc around ch 3 of previous row, sc in next ch 3) repeat from * around. Color B now measures 3". Fasten off.

Directions for Trim of Cap:  
Row 1:   With Right side facing and working in back loops only; join Color A with sc in top of ch 3, sc in each st across.
Work in both loops now and throughout;
Row 2:   Ch 1, turn. sc in same st as turning, sc in each st across. (94 sc)
Row 3:   Sl st in 2nd sc, Ch 3, dc in previous sc of previous Row, * (sk next sc, dc in next sc, dc in skipped sc), repeat from * across. (47 crossed dc)
Row 4 - Row 10:   Repeat Rows 2 and 3, {3} times. Then repeat Row 2 once more. Do not fasten off.

Neck:   Working in ends of Rows 1-13 of crown. Place sc in each sc and 2 sc in each dc of neck line.
Eyelet Round:   Turn. Sl st in 1st sc, (ch 3, sl st in next 2 sc) around.
Finishing:   Weave ribbon through last 2 rows of crossed dc. Fold Trim across Row 6 with right side out.
